Mary K.
Inman and Louise F. Pence are retired school librarians and
media specialists. They both taught for Worthington City Schools, but first
met in library classes at Ohio Dominican College. Later they became
reacquainted through their post-graduate coursework at The Ohio State
University. During a winter museum trip to London, England, the authors
discovered their mutual interest in this project dealing with eighteenth
century frontier life and clothing. Currently, they continue to research and
write, as well as to recreate late eighteenth- and early nineteenth-century
clothing. They are presently researching several books and enjoy
"bringing history to life" through their presentations.
Inman,
a native of Columbus, Ohio, still resides in the Columbus area with
her husband Jeff.
Pence,
